Hostage to the Devil
In this week’s episode, Traci and Kathy get curious about a case of demonic possession that’s documented in Father Malachi Martin’s bestselling book, “Hostage to the Devil.” In the case in question, a young woman named “Marianne” exhibits ever-worsening signs of what Martin concludes can only be demonic possession - complete with bizarre behaviors, reacting violently to Christian symbols and prayers, demonstrations of telepathy and telekinesis. Marianne seems to reach into the very depths of the excorcist’s own secrets, taunting him with his past – in foreign languages she had never learned. Could this be a case of true possession?
